Repair Warranty
Last updated 15 August 2026
Repairs carried out by Archis Tech may include an express repair warranty. The applicable warranty period and coverage will be stated on your invoice or receipt.
Repair warranties vary depending on the type of repair. A PS5 HDMI port replacement, for example, may have different warranty terms from a screen replacement or liquid damage repair.
This warranty applies in addition to any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law.
What's covered
- Failure of the specific component we repaired or replaced
- The same fault recurring due to the workmanship of the repair we performed
What's not covered
- Physical damage occurring after the repair
- Liquid damage occurring after the repair
- Accidental damage
- Damage caused by misuse
- Tampering, or attempted repair by another party after our repair
- New or unrelated faults
- Software or data issues, unless specifically covered in your quote
- Consumable items, where applicable
What the warranty applies to
The warranty applies to the specific repair performed and does not cover the entire device.
For example, if we repair a PS5's HDMI port, the warranty applies to that repair. An unrelated fault, such as a failed power supply later on, would not be covered because it is not related to the HDMI repair.
Making a warranty claim
Contact us with your ticket number and a description of the issue. We'll assess the device and determine whether the issue falls within the applicable warranty coverage, and explain our findings before carrying out any further chargeable work.
