When you book a repair or contact us, we collect:

• Your name, phone number, and email address (email is optional)
• Details about your device — type, brand, model, and the fault you've described
• Repair-related records our repair team adds while diagnosing and quoting your device (notes, cost estimates)

We do not collect or store payment card details ourselves. Any applicable booking, diagnostic, or other service fee is processed securely by our payment provider when you pay online; any remaining repair balance is payable according to the methods specified in your quotation.

We use your information only to:

• Create and manage your repair ticket
• Contact you about your repair's status, quotes, or completion
• Respond to enquiries you send us directly (WhatsApp, phone, or email)

We do not sell, rent, or use your information for advertising or marketing.

We use a limited number of third-party service providers to operate our website and provide our services. Where necessary, we only share the information required for them to provide their service.

• Payment providers process payments made through our website. Payment details are handled directly by the payment provider, and Archis Tech does not receive or store your full card details.
• Email service providers may receive the information necessary to send booking confirmations, repair updates and other service-related emails on our behalf.
• WhatsApp may process information you choose to share with us through WhatsApp. Those conversations are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Some of our service providers may process or store personal information outside South Africa. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is handled in accordance with POPIA and applicable data protection requirements.

This website uses limited cookies and local storage for essential website functionality and user preferences. We do not currently use cookies for advertising, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics.

Your personal information is stored securely and access is restricted to authorised staff. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

Under POPIA, you can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that's inaccurate or out of date
• Delete your information, once we no longer need it for the reasons above

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide after-sales support, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your personal information has been handled unlawfully.

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we start using a new service provider. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
